With the Famundo Assistant, these records never even touch your computer, but are instantly moved to safe and secure online storage. By providing a visual record of the original document, families can easily replace these records which would ordinarily take months to replace.

The Famundo Assistant is a small applet that runs on your Windows desktop providing a number of helpful tools that work with your Famundo site.

Library Assistant – makes it easy to manage the files and folders in your Famundo Library as if they are part of your desktop. We are very pleased to announce that we have added online photo storage to our Family Library. This is in addition to the Library’s existing file storage, family vault and blogs.

Just like everything else in Famundo, you can set the ownership and view access. For the photos, like the blogs, the default view access is set to public to make it easier to share with your family and friends.

To share your photos, you can send an e-mail to your family and friends by either selecting their e-mail addresses from your address book or input them manually. Photos can also be displayed on the public homepage.

His company’s Famundo for Organizations is an event calendar-planning system designed specifically to enable community groups – such as schools, churches, scouts, and sports teams – to “spend less time on administration and more time focusing on their role within the community,” Kuhlenschmidt said. “We provide a central calendar hub with an easy-to-read, holistic view of everything going on in an organization in a user-friendly format, so that members and staff can benefit from closer, easier integration with the rest of the community.”
